The Girona Biennial of Art had been an established fixture in academic and professional circles for 14 years. Now, as its ninth exhibition was approaching, the organisers wanted to open up the event to a wider and more diverse audience.
The challenge was to modernize its image and establish a fresh and friendly tone for communications, to encourage artists and attendees to get involved. The graphics solution explored the intersection between works and spectators, with color gradients taking center stage to connote the concept visually.
